How We Support Animal Charities

Kingstone Pet Boarding supports Cats Protection

Cats Protection

The Cats Protection has grown to become the UK’s leading feline welfare charity, helping around 200,000 cats and kittens each year. Here at Kingstone Pet Boarding we support the charity in a number of ways:

  • We have an official Cats Protection collection box.
  • We have a collection point for donations of food and bedding etc
  • We hold raffles
  • Customers have kindly donated items for sale in our reception, the proceeds from which are donated to the charity
  • My daughter Evie volunteered at the Stone branch charity shop as part of her Duke of Edinburgh award.
  • We subscribe to The Cat Magazine… the official supporter magazine of Cats Protection, and is packed with news, views and features for those who share a passion for all things feline.
  • We share The Cats Protection educational and lost and found posts our Facebook page to help keep customers updated on the Charities valuable work.

Other Charities We Support

As part of our ongoing educational development we also subscribe to the International Cat Care online magazine, ‘ iCatCare Community newsletter’ which contains all of their latest news and events. We also follow their Facebook page to show our support by sharing information about their valuable work.

Rabbit Welfare and Association and Fund are the UK’s largest organisation for rabbit lovers, and are instrumental in changing perceptions about rabbits as pets. Our membership helps fund their incredible work and in return we receive their Rabbiting On magazine and access to their reliable and up to date educational information. We have copies of their ‘On the Hop’ comprehensive rabbit care and advice guide available in reception. We also support their Hutch is not enough campaign.
